Bump... what??

Here's today's adventure - more pics/story to follow.

Been gone - Sorry about that

Hi - Sorry it's been a while. Lots has happened, which hopefully I will get to giving regular updates on soon. In the meantime, I have moved to the Redding, Ca, area for school. Actually living in the little settlement of Bella Vista. Right now,  all I can tell is that it consists of 2 country stores, a gas expensive Chevron station, a fruit stand, doggie daycare, a few churches and a K-8 school.

Mean time, here are some catch-up pics and I promise to do more updates soon. :)

Kraf and I at the March 30th game. We got to watch the team bus leave.

My one and only booth at the SR Downtown Market. I sold one card.

Celebrating 50 pounds lost!

 Hey - it's Baby Giraffe!

Me and my bro at Aug 27th game - Lower Box Seats = Awesome!

Stretchy Timmy (and Stewart) at the following Saturday's game - Sep 3 - I know - two weeks in a row was great. I felt like I should move in!

Ross is boss!

Miller and Kruk in the booth for the post-game wrap-up.

The bevy of beauties that accompanied me to the game. I just realized I'm the one-non-blond. I should start a rock band...

The lineup of players that shared for Fellowship Night - our own post game show!

The Spanish chaplain, Dravecky and Affeldt

I was really there - like my new hat? Represent the Irish, yo...

Proof I went to Anthro tonight...

And another piece of evidence...

It's true. We're deciding if Homo Habilis was a scavenger. Apparently, the answer is not quite so obvious...

Actually, I never thought I would be in a college level class where I could be blogging in the middle of said class. Then again, when I took my first classes in the fall of 1993 (sheesh!) I didn't have any idea what blogging was. I don't even think I had my own computer yet. I remember this thing called a computer lab...

The sad thing is this isn't my only class this semester that isn't super high quality. I am getting a B in here without too much work. In my Wednesday class, where one of the students actually slammed his book and walked out in the middle of a lecture a few weeks ago, I am not doing as well. Unfortunately, it's probably close to the worst teacher I have had in all my college days. So even when I try to pay attention, the teacher will test us on stuff that she doesn't cover and is not in the book. When we ask her questions in class, she literally has said she is too tired to think about the answer at that time. What???

I hope next semester is better. I think I am going to take most of my classes online.

Avoiding homework...

I have almost exhausted my ideas for avoiding working on m budget this evening. I thought I might try to do that since this is what happened last payday.

I blame the nuns.

(Update 8/2010: I'm not sure what that was all about ORIGINALLY since I deleted most of my photos from my photobucket account. I went a head and replaced it with a picture of a Mary's Pizza Shack house salad with bleu cheese dressing. Because I am craving that today. And I have a few dollars from payday, so I keep thinking about getting one. Hhmmm... maybe for lunch tomorrow?)

Anyhoo, none of those shenanigans for us this time. So after this, it right to the spreadsheet for me. I also want to try out some kind of blog template thing so you can see how things are going at a glance. I wanted to share what I am actually reading/listening to/watching because it might not fall under one of the future blog topics to the left, to the left. So, if I figure it out, you'll see a couple of quick hits at the bottom of each entry.

Enjoy!

Here's to contentment...
